Glenn A. Jarrett, Partner

Glenn A. Jarrett is a partner in Jarrett & Luitjens, PLC and founded its predecessor, Jarrett Law Office, in 2007.  Since 2001, Glenn has limited his practice to estate planning and elder law, including drafting wills, trusts and incapacity documents, special needs planning, long-term care and Medicaid planning, guardianship and probate and trust administration.  Glenn is certified as an elder law attorney (CELA) by the National Elder Law Foundation, a non-profit organization accredited by the American Bar Association. Glenn is also a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner. 

Glenn graduated from Middlebury College where he majored in Political Science, graduating with honors, and received his J.D. degree from the Georgetown University Law Center, where he was a senior editor of Law and Policy in International Business, Georgetown’s international law journal.  He served as a law clerk to Hon. Albert W. Coffrin of the United States District Court in Burlington.

Glenn is a frequent presenter on estate planning and elder law topics to both the public and professionals.  He is a member of the Chittenden County, Vermont and American Bar Associations.  He is also a member of the Governor’s Commission on Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders as well as the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.

He lives in Burlington with his wife.  They have two adult sons and a granddog.
