Attorney Geraldine “Gerry” E. Stewart has been Of Counsel since 2018. Her practice focuses on estate planning, Medicaid- Long Term Care planning and trust administration.

Gerry earned her B.S. from Merrimack College in 1985 and her law degree from Vermont Law School in 1992, where she served on the Vermont Law Review and as Editor-in-Chief from 1991 to 1992. Before law school, she worked for a CPA firm in Woburn, Massachusetts, and earned her Massachusetts CPA license in 1989.

Gerry has practiced estate planning, business law, and elder law in Vermont for many years. Earlier in her career, she helped obtain important federal clarification that children in the care of private adoption agencies may be eligible for Title IV-E adoption assistance after a final decree of adoption. She has also taught Business Law at Northern Vermont University’s Johnson campus.

Gerry and her husband enjoy hiking, biking, running attending church and spending time with her family.
