Glenn A. Jarrett is a partner in Jarrett | Hoyt, PLC and founded its predecessor, Jarrett Law Office. Glenn limits his practice to estate planning and elder law, including drafting wills, trusts and incapacity documents. His SNT Planning, long-term care and Medicaid planning, guardianship and probate and trust administration has guided generations of families.
He is certified as an elder law attorney (CELA) by the National Elder Law Foundation, a non-profit organization accredited by the American Bar Association. Glenn graduated from Middlebury College where he majored in Political Science, graduating with honors, and received his J.D. degree from the Georgetown University Law Center.
Formerly a senior editor of Law and Policy in International Business, Georgetown’s international law journal, Glenn served as a law clerk to Hon. Albert W. Coffrin of the United States District Court in Burlington and is a frequent presenter on estate planning and elder law topics to both the public and professionals.
A member of the Chittenden County and Vermont Bar Associations and the Governor’s Commission on Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Disorders as well as the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys, he lives in Burlington with his wife. They have two adult sons and two grandsons.
