Attorney Julie Hoyt is a Partner at Jarrett | Hoyt PLC. Her primary areas of practice include estate and long-term care planning, guardianship, probate & trust administration, elder law and supplemental needs trusts. She is a member of the National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys.
She presents at local workshops, various bar association continued legal education courses and private organizations on many subjects including estate planning, negotiation, collaborative law and mediation and long-term care.
Julie Hoyt is an experienced mediator in the areas of family and elder law, foreclosure mediation and agricultural and small business mediation. She is involved with the USDA’s Vermont and New Hampshire Agricultural Mediation Programs.
Julie Hoyt began her practice in Massachusetts in 1994 and in Vermont in 2010. She is a cum laude graduate of Wellesley College and Boston University School of Law where she was also a member of the Law Review and a Paul J. Liacos scholar.
She holds a Masters degree in Mediation and Applied Conflict Studies from Woodbury College. Prior to moving to Vermont, she was Senior Counsel at Boston Law Collaborative, LLC.
